Pre-release information

C-Bus^ interface hat suitable for Raspberry Pi 4.  Includes 2x RJ45 connections to C-Bus network. Connects to 40 pin header connection of raspberry Pi 4.  Includes an interrupt relay to reset (break) the connection to C-Bus should the interface get into an indetermined* state.  Instructions will be provided on how to connect to a locally running version of CGate or to remote access via the Local Area Network (LAN).  The interface hat will enable the Raspberry pi/hat combination to operate in much the same way as a C-Bus Network Interface (CNI) unit.

Note.. This product will only be available through the online store and partner sites for the foreseeable future (not through electrical wholesalers).

*The indetermined state is a known problem where the PC interface fails to reset and will not connect to C-Bus toolkit or CGate.  The only way to reset is to power cycle (disconnect from the C-Bus network, then reconnect).   The interrupt relay has a set of normally closed (N/C) contacts that can be pulsed open to briefly disconnect.  Instructions will be provided on how best to do this.
